Jed Weissberg Director of Interactive Media and Distribution Scholastic Media

As Director of Interactive Media and Distribution for Scholastic Media, Jed Weissberg oversees the strategy and development of Scholastic Media's digital distribution channels on broadband platforms. He also develops Scholastic’s original consumer electronic devices for kids.
Prior to Scholastic, Mr. Weissberg was the founder and CEO of two Internet companies, Great Art for Great Kids, which sold art for kids, and LetsPlay Inc. an email game and marketing company. Previously he was the Director of Original Content and Executive Producer for Nickelodeon Online, where he oversaw the development of Nick on AOL and the launch of Nick.com. He was also the Creative Director of Kinderactive Inc, a kids’ CD-Rom developer.
Mr. Weissberg originally trained as a puppeteer with the Bread and Puppet Theater of Vermont, and toured internationally with his cast of papier-mâché co-workers.
